RV2 Finishes 2nd at stop #8 in Atlanta GA

ATLANTA (February 25, 2012) – A sold out crowd of 71,009 filled the Georgia Dome to capacity on Saturday night, as Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, hosted its eighth race of the 2012 season. Following a strong start, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey, of Belle Plaine, Minn., fended off all challengers to take his second victory of the year. In the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class, GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia, of Ochlocknee, Ga., remained undefeated in the second race of that championship.

Villopoto Flies to Third Consecutive Win at Cowboys Stadium

ARLINGTON, Texas (February 18, 2012) – Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., won his third consecutive Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race tonight at Cowboys Stadium before 53,952 fans and extended his points lead to 13 points. GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia, of Ochlocknee, Ga., won the opening race of the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class Championship.

RV2 Takes 3rd Victory of Season

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (February 11, 2012) –  A huge crowd of 58,782 fans welcomed the sixth race of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season at Qualcomm Stadium. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., won his third race of the season tonight to extend his points lead to six. In the Western Regional Supercross Lites Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson, of Menifee. Calif., won his second race and now controls the points lead as the Western division takes a two-month break.

RV2 Claims 2nd Victory at Anaheim

ANAHEIM, Calif. (February 4, 2012) – Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., became the first rider of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, to win two races, leading all 20 laps of the Main Event tonight at Angel Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd. GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac, of Cortez, Colo., won his third consecutive Western Regional Supercross Lites Class race and extended his points lead to 22.
